Every year we go to my mom's for Cookie Day. We just barely squeezed it in this year, not getting there until the 23rd. Grandmommy makes most of the dough first so we just need to bake and decorate. Our favorite is the gingerbread cookies, of course. The kids like to use the cookie cutters to make the shapes and then decorate them with yummy icing and lots of red hots and sprinkles! We made molasses cookies and Christmas tree cookies, Daddy's favorite. We even made some Toll House chocolate chip cookies at the special request of Uncle Joe.
We filled in the time between batches watching old favorites like Frosty and the Grinch and snacking on walnuts and clementines.
