I had really planned on keeping a running pregnancy journal here. Well, I make lots of plans…

I am 27 weeks and a day today. Less than three months to go! Two weeks ago, I had another sonogram and peek at our little guy. Every time they do a sonogram, I have this crazy hope that they will discover Pippin is still there and catching up with his twin brother. But there has been no sign of that. Merry was about 2 lbs two weeks ago, measuring right to date.

I have been feeling pretty good, still in that second trimester lull. But…. in the last week or so, my legs have gotten really bad and my feet are killing me! The last day or so, I have started having Braxton Hicks contractions that don't feel all that great.Hopefully, my body is warming up and will be ready to go fast when the time comes!

We don't have a "real" name picked out yet. I gets harder with each child. We have such a generic last name that we don't want to go with something like Joe, but we don't want to pick something too different either. Girls are so much easier to name!

Christmas shopping is about halfway done, even the wrapping! I am determined to have everything ready so that we can concentrate on Advent and preparing for the birth of Christ without the added stress of a very pregnant mommy trying to Christmas shop. I admit I am hoping that this little guy decides to make an early appearance as opposed to his big brother who came a week late. So not fair after this many babies!

I intend to savor every moment, every kick of the next 13 weeks. For all the drawbacks of pregnancy, it is such a gift and one not to be taken for granted.
